    Flannery Pendergast doesn't let the coronavirus take away her season. Milwaukee's dog owner, Wisconsin, is making the best out of a difficult situation. Instead of allowing COVID-19 hum, their spirits dampen, Flannery and her puppy, Riley, spread joy.

    Flannery left her house dressed in an old Halloween costume with wings one day to walk her dog. She saw people looking at her and remembered that she had wings behind her. That incident gave Flannery the idea of dressing up and doing likewise with Riley.

    "I've decided, yeah, that's something I need to make," she said.

    The pair takes a costumed stroll around the neighborhood every Friday for the past 16 weeks. She posts the images to Instagram as well, so that everyone can smile.

    She's dressing up for a month of pride with her canine "shark" as a banana pair, lions, and even a scuba diver.
